Though we’re slowly reaching saturation point when it comes to teasers, trailers, images and clips of X-Men: First Class, we’re reassured by the fact that each one just makes us want to see the movie more. And now the marketing team has found a handy way to both introduce some of the lesser-known mutants and also show us some fresh footage, launching character trailers for Banshee, Havok, Beast and Mystique.

We've now got the goods on the new promos, which blends longer chunks from scenes with a cliff notes grounding on what the characters will be up to.

First up is Caleb Landry Jones’ Sean Cassidy, AKA Banshee, a lad “blessed” with a serious set of lungs capable of producing a sonic scream that can be destructive or, as you’ll see, let him fly.

Then there’s Lucas Till’s Havok, also known as Alex Summers (in the comics, younger brother to Scott, AKA Cyclops). Born with incredibly plasma bolt power, Havok has trouble controlling his energy (and his temper) until Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) intercedes and starts to train him to focus the powerful force he wields.

Finally, we have Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), who just wants to live an ordinary life but seems doomed to mutate even further than he has, ending up as Beast. Before he goes fully furry, he has a relationship with Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique (who, omg, is also blue really! They're MFEO!).

And while we're on the subject of Mystique, here's your look at the final character spot. Better known as Raven Darkholme (so you know she'll eventually be up to no good), she's just as confused about her powers, but more willing to consider less heroic options even as Xavier and the rest of the X-team try to make her feel at home.

As if you didn’t already have it pencilled into your diary, X-Men: First Class is out on June 1. Less than a month to wait!
