Another day, another blockbuster premiere in London, as X-Men: Days Of Future Past debuted in town with a brace of Magnetos and a couple of Professor Xs on hand.
This film sees past and future collide as the First Class cast encounter the original X-cast thanks to some time-travel shenanigans. Specifically, Wolverine's (Hugh Jackman) consciousness travels back to his younger self and warns the young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Eric Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) that they need to change history to prevent a dark future ruled by robot Sentinels.
Also starring (deep breath) Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Josh Helman and Lucas Till, and directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Days Of Future Past hits cinemas on May 22 in the UK.
