Spike Jonze's Where The Wild Things Are continues to inch ever-closer to release, and just to whet our already-keen appetites further, here's a new poster for the film, showing our hero, Max, and one of the titular undomesticated beasties.
The story follows Max (played by the awesomely named Max Records), a naughty boy sent to his room who escapes to the land where the Wild Things Are and leads them in the wild rumpus. But he gets lonely, and wants to go back home where someone loves him best of all, and has to leave his new friends behind.

The story's a children's classic, and this poster suggests that the film might just match it (albeit it there's a touch of photoshopping here around the edges). Where The Wild Things Are is due out here late this year.
