Given that he became a one-man PR company for the new Riddick film, posting pictures and thoughts as it was in production, we’re not entirely surprised to see that Vin Diesel has been doing the same for the latest Fast & Furious film, though not to the same degree. With shooting entering its final month, Diesel has, via his Facebook page, put up a couple of images from the set, which you can see below.
One looks to be almost an official still, with Diesel’s Dom Toretto and Paul Walker’s Brian O’Connor in a lush garden with Jordana Brewster’s Mia.
The other feels much more like a Fast image, with Diesel at the wheel of a muscle car.
With Justin Lin back at the helm, the sixth Fast & Furious movie has been filming around London, Surrey, Glasgow, Liverpool, Tenerife and in Shepperton Studios for what promises to be a pacey, Europe-set thriller.
The plot is being kept under wraps, but it’s a Fast film: we’d expect Toretto and O’Connor to once more be plotting a big vehicular heist despite legal pursuit from Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs, joined this time by Gina Carano’s stalwart supporting officer.
Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang and more are all back, with Luke Evans as a villain. Fast & Furious 6: London Calling (not the official title, we hasten to add, but we wish it were) is set to screech into cinemas on May 24.
