Update: the poster roster now stands at four, with Nicola Peltz's Tessa and main robo-man himself, Optimus Prime, added to the group.

“The Rules Have Changed” squawk the new character posters for Transformers: Age Of Extinction, and we’re pretty sure they don’t mean the rules of Bridge - unless the new rule is Blow Up All The Bridges, a Michael Bay trademark. It’s all in aid of putting our minds back in a Bayhem mood ready for the new trailer headed our way shortly.

The fourth film in the franchise is something of a fresh start, and sees an Earth scarred by the events of the last three films but moving on after the disappearance of all giant robots. Will they stay away for long? You do know the movie's still called Transformers, right? And not Mark Wahlberg Eyes His Car Suspiciously But Nothing Really Happens? When Wahlberg's inventor, Cade Yeager, discovers a buried Transformer, the stage is set for the return of the giant beasties. There will also be some business with Cade's daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz); her secret racing driver boyfriend Shane (Jack Reynor); Stanley Tucci's Joshua; his geologist assistant Darcy (Sophia Myles); "the CEO of the Chinese Transformers", played by Li Bingbing; and Kelsey Grammer's Harold Attinger, the film's non-robot big bad.
