Ray Winstone, David Thewlis and Anna Friel have signed up to join the cast of London Boulevard, the William Monahan-directed crime drama with Keira Knightley and Colin Farrell starring.
The storyfocuses on a recently paroled criminal (Farrell) who finds himself becoming involved with a reclusive young actress (Knightley). Winstone will play a former crime boss, Thewlis the actress' agoraphobic business manager and Friel will play Farrell's sister.
The film is screenwriter Monahan's directorial debut, and is set to shoot in London this summer. With this cast, and assuming that Monahan picked up a few tips from his previous directors like Ridley Scott and Martin Scorsese, this could be rather good.
