All hail the D! For they are mighty and now they are trailerful in a properly accessible way.
After a week of frustrating, limited, PC-only display at the MTV Overdrive site, the Tenacious D In: The Pick Of Destiny trailer has finally arrived in glorious QuickTime thanks to Yahoo Movies.
The movie charts the creation of the D, from the first meeting of a young, impressionable Jack Black with stalwart support Kyle Gass to their attempt at finding the legendary, titular guitar pick, a tooth of Satan which grants its user the ultimate power of rock. And, this being JB and KG, they naturally come across a slew of weird characters, demons and musos, all the while belting out some classic Tenacious D material and specially-written new tunes.
