Thor who? All right, so Marvel hasn’t completely forsworn Asgard’s warrior, especially with his latest film, The Dark World set to arrive in UK cinemas on October 30 (you can see what we thought of it right here). But with that film done, dusted and out on its press tour, attention has turned to his Avengers stable mate, Captain America and his sequel, The Winter Soldier. We’ve had the latest poster and some stills from the film, and here comes that new perennial PR favourite, a teaser for the trailer.

In case you just want to wait for the full thing, that’s scheduled to arrive tomorrow (Thursday October 24). However, this new footage blip confirms everything we’ve been told so far about the film: it’ll be bigger, darker and full of Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers fighting the good fight. Even if that means going up against S.H.I.E.L.D. itself...
There’s also the not-so-small matter of Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) showing up again in a very different, very dangerous form. Oh, and several people will stride dramatically towards the camera in slow-mo, because who doesn't enjoy a bit of that?
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo from Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely’s script, Captain America: The Winter Soldier also features Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, Cobie Smulders, Emily VanCamp, Anthony Mackie and Frank Grillo. It’ll hit our screens on April 4, 2014.
