Steve Zahn is kinda awesome. This we can all accept. Which means that black comedy Cleaning Sunshine, for which Zahn has just signed is now a Steve Zahn-sized amount more awesome.
In the film about a business which cleans up splattery crime scenes, Zahn will play Mac, a married police officer having an affair with the co-owner of Sunshine Cleaning, Rose Lorkowski (played by Amy Adams). Also already cast in the film are Alan Arkin and Emily Blunt, who will play Rose's partners in scrubbing up squidgey bits of murder victims.
The film is currently shooting in New Mexico, with Christine Jeffs shouting the orders. Zahn will next be seen in Rescue Dawn, Werner Herzog's drama about a US fighter pilot (Christian Bale) who's shot down over Laos during the Vietnam War.
