Just last week it was revealed that director Michael J Bassett had officially started filming Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the follow-up to the 2006 horror video game adaptation. Now comes word that three of that film’s stars are officially back for the sequel, with Sean Bean, Radha Mitchell and Deborah Kara Unger reporting for duty.
Revelation already features fresh faces Adelaide Clemens and Kit Harington in a tale that finds Clemens’ Heather Mason and her father endlessly on the run from dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her dad, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
"It wouldn't be the same without some of the original **Silent Hill **cast,” Bassett said in a press release. “Sean, Radha and Deborah's return will certainly thrill fans of the franchise and compliment Revelation stars Adelaide and Kit."
Radha can be seen below in a new pic from the movie released along with the announcement.
There’s no word on a release date yet.
