Good news for fans of Robert Pattinson’s hair. The Twilight star’s massive barnet is in talks to accompany its owner on a new movie named Memoirs.
A romantic drama about two new lovers who struggle with their relationship when they’re beset by family tragedies, Memoirs may be directed by Allen Coulter, who was last seen directing Ben Affleck in true-life Superman drama, Hollywoodland.
Affleck, of course, has beautiful, shiny hair, but Coulter will never have worked with a ‘do quite like Pattinson’s. So big it’s asked for its own trailer, complete with detachable roof, let’s hope Coulter is up to the task of taming the British actor’s magnificent mane.
And on a more serious note, it’s good to see that Pattinson, who’s about to start work on Twilight sequel, Eclipse, is determined to stretch and test himself as an actor when he’s not being a big-haired biter.
Jenny Lumet, screenwriter of Rachel Getting Married, will rewrite Will Fetters’ original screenplay, while Summit, the studio behind Twilight, is putting up the cash, clearly in the hopes that Pattinson’s fervent fanbase will flock to see their idol in something that’s not vampire-related.
Good luck with that.
