Renee Gets A Statue (Kind Of)

It’s not everyday that you get to unveil a statue honouring yourself, but that’s what Renee Zellweger’s been doing…sort of. She’s playing beloved children’s author Beatrix Potter in an upcoming biopic and attended the unveiling at The World of Beatrix Potter. The star was in Cumbria to shoot some scenes, where she said she’d been “stunned by the beauty of the landscape and the tranquillity of the scene" (expect that quote on tourist literature anytime soon). "It brings the whole Miss Potter story to life to be in the places where Beatrix lived,” she said. "Arriving in the Lake District is like the culmination of the journey we've been on these past few weeks."
