Paz Vega, Andie MacDowell and Kelli Garner are all getting married to Tim Allen.
Don’t worry, the Toy Story and Home Improvement star isn’t going to go to jail (again), and he's definitely not committing bigamy – instead the three actresses will play some of his ex-wives in a new comedy, The Six Wives Of Henry LeFay! Ha – bet you never saw that ‘it was for a movie all along’ gambit coming, eh? What’s that? You did? Oh. Well, on with the third paragraph, now containing actual movie news!
Written and directed by Howard Gould, The Six Wives Of Henry LeFay may seem like it’s inspired in some way by our very own dear psychotic Henry VIII, who decapitated as many wives as he divorced, but it’s actually a modern-day black comedy about Allen’s salesman who goes missing, presumed dead, while sky-diving.
It’s then left to his daughter (Elisha Cuthbert, thankfully not crossing the boundaries of ick by playing one of the former Mrs. Tims) to cope with a squabblefest between the current Mrs. LeFay and his five ex-wives, all of whom want to have the honour of burying him (which should surely go to the current wife, but maybe our legal knowledge is a little rusty and based almost entirely on old episodes of Matlock).
