For those of you who don't know (are there any of you left?) Twilight is based on the best-selling novel by Stephanie Meyer, about a teenage girl, Bella, who falls in love with a vampire. Bella is played by Kristen Stewart, who was last on our screen in Into the Wild. Robert Pattinson, of Harry Potter fame, plays Edward Cullen, Bella’s vampire beau, who must resist his own dark nature to protect her when she is targeted by a vicious gang of vampires, led by The O.C.’s Cam Gigandet.
The trailer looks spectacular and will have even the hearts of the undead beating in anticipation for its December release. For those of you who were worried it’s going to be another bloody romance there is plenty of action to er*… get your teeth into*, and for fans of pretty people there are several of those to, um, feast your eyes on too.
Twilight has many fans in the Empire office and it’s easy to see why. The film is released on December 19th.
