The 15th annual Moët British Independent Film Awards have revealed their nominations, and Rufus Norris' North London drama, Broken, has emerged as the clear favourite with nine nominations in the bag, including a nod for Tim Roth for his role alongside Cillian Murphy.
In joint second position are Ben Wheatley's **Sightseers **and Peter Strickland's Berberian Sound Studio, both picking up 7 nominations each, including the all-important Best British Independent Film.
6-time former host James Nesbitt – also known as The Hobbit's Bofur – will be looking after proceedings (ideally in dwarven get-up), which will kick off at its Old Billingsgate venue in London on Sunday, December 9.
