If Fox really is planning on releasing a poster for every major character in** X-Men: Days Of Future Past** (as it did with our collection of 25 covers) over days, we could be here for a while. Still, with Michael Fassbender’s Magneto scoring the most recent image, here are Halle Berry’s Storm and Daniel Cudmore’s Colossus to follow.
It would seem that the latest batch of photos have everyone standing in front of the same ruined Washington, D.C. structures; perhaps that was the one backdrop available on school picture day.
Days Of Future Pas****t, as you’ll know by now, finds our mutant heroes in a dark futurewhere they’ve been all but wiped out by the Sentinel-powered machinations of driven scientist Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage). As a last, desperate attempt to thwart their extinction, they send Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) consciousness back through time to 1973 to recruit the younger versions of the X-Men we first met in 2011’s First Class.
But fighting the future will not be so easy when Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) and the rest are in such splintered, bad shape. Can they save mutant kind while also saving themselves? We’ll have to wait and see. X-Men: Days Of Future Past arrives on May 22. For many more details, check out the latest issue of Empire, which boasts that nifty collection of covers.
