New Wolf Of Wall Street Trailer Is Live

Alongside word that, despite earlier worries about fine-tuning the final cut, Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf Of Wall Street will make it in time to qualify for Oscar consideration and is dated for Christmas Day across the pond, Paramount has released a new trailer.

It's in much the same kinetic style as the first promo, and follows the tale ripped from Jordan Belfort’s memoir chronicling his real-life hard-partying indulgences as a stockbroker in 1990s New York. Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio), his colleagues and associated hangers-on all enjoyed the spoils of his financial gains, even as the criminal activities that sustained the party slowly came to light.

DiCaprio is backed up by Jonah Hill (once more blending his comedy chops with dramatic material), Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Margot Robbie, Jon Favreau, Jean Dujardin, PJ Byrne and Kenneth Choi, and, in a role that looks set to steal scenes, Matthew McConaughey.

With a script from Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter, The Wolf Of Wall Street continues to look like a lot of fun. It’ll hit the UK on January 17.
