Zombie rom-com** Warm Bodies** will be shuffling into cinemas in a couple of weeks, and while most of the trailers have focused on central character R, played by Nicholas Hoult, here’s a new clip that gives a little more screen time to Julie, played by Teresa Palmer, the object of his growing affection. Check it out below courtesy of Yahoo.
Warm Bodies, adapted from Isaac Marion’s book by writer/director Jonathan Levine, finds R stumbling through life, feasting on brains like any ordinary zombie. But he also retains some spark of humanity lurking within his mouldy mind, and when he meets Julie, the spark becomes a flame.
There are just a few obstacles standing in their way: his slow decomposition, and the issue of location. After all, his friends would rather eat her flesh and she usually lives in a human shelter run by her father General Grigio (John Malkovich), who has sworn to destroy all of the undead in this post-apocalyptic world.
With Analeigh Tipton, Rob Corddry and Dave Franco also among the cast, Warm Bodies arrives on February 8. If you're in need of new material from the story to devour, Isaac Marion's prequel novel The New Hunger hits e-readers on January 28 and Entertainment Weekly has a preview.
