Thanks to Fox, a new batch of Unstoppable pictures have been unleashed on to the world wide interweb giving a glimpse of Tony Scott's latest stab of heart-stopping action.
The stills show veteran engineer Frank Barnes (Denzel Washington) and young conductor Will Colson (Chris Pine) sporting seriously pensive looks. And fair enough: there's an unmanned train whistling towards a populated area and gathering speed, and it's down to them to stop it. And if that's not enough, it's bearing a highly toxic cargo. And if that's not enough, there's also a passenger train directly in the path of the loose caboose, bearing small children and kittens (we think).
Unstoppable is based loosely on a real-life incident in which a train careered across Ohio with no-one at the controls. That was 2001 and the whole shebang ended relatively calmly. This is 2010 and, with Scott involved, expect it not to.
