Incredibly, despite squeezing our eyes shut and wishing really, really hard, it is still not July 21 and the UK release date of Toy Story 3. But while Pixar's latest film, which looks poised to prove forever that threequels don't have to see a diminution in quality, isn't quite here yet, a new featurette is, and it reveals the film's secret: it's really a prison movie.
Yes, the loveable toys have more in common with Steve McQueen's Cooler King and Burt Lancaster's Birdman of Alcatraz than you might have thought. And as they try to escape from the well-secured confines of the Sunnyside Daycare Centre, they're going to need their wits about them.
The film's out on July 21 here, or June 18 in the US. Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to try standing on one leg to see if that makes the time go faster.
