New Sucker Punch Animation Arrives

Here we have another collaboration between Snyder and Swiss animator Ben Hibon, who’ve been working together to give us a few snazzy extras to compliment your upcoming **Sucker Punch **experience.

As you’ll see from our brief collection below, we’ve had a trench-based number, one involving dragons – naturally – and now a new short which boasts robots, exploding trains and a brief glimpse of the Sucker Punch girls in action.

But if you’re looking for clues as to what the plot is all about, maybe these aren’t the videos for you. For starters,** Sucker Punch’s** plot looks a little big irrelevant in the grand scheme of things (Boom! Bang! Guns! Dragons!) and these are all the kind of background stories that’ll make only make sense after the film. We reckon, anyway.

Still, that’s not the point – these be pretty videos, and it’s a refreshing change, publicity-wise, compared to the eternal leaking of movie posters and character banners. In other words, here’s to you Zach and Ben!

And now, the videos, starting with the newest one – called “Distant Planet” – and ending with the oldest, The Trenches.

Here be dragons…

And now, the trenches…

Sucker Punch is coming to a cinema near you on April 1.
