With the end of the World Cup drawing steadily closer and the prospect of normal box-office service resuming, we've got another taste of one of this summer's bigger releases: The Sorcerer's Apprentice, with Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel, has a new poster online.
Yes, that's Cage's Balthazar Blake*, Baruchel's Dave Stutler and Teresa Palmer's Becky, all standing on a rooftop looking perturbed, possibly because they all appear to be aboard a van der Graaf generator that is making their hair stand on end (what's that? It's wind dramatically blowing? OK then).
What we've seen of the film so far looks fun, and also stars Alfred Molina as Big Bad Maxim Horvath and Monica Bellucci as the smokin' Veronica (we haven't seen her in action, but she's played by Bellucci so she must be smokin'). Jon Turteltaub is directing, and it's all due out here on August 13.
*Not enough people are called Balthazar these days. Let's bring it back, people!
