New Sherlock Holmes One-Sheet

Judging by the trailer, Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes isn't so much rebooting Arthur Conan Doyle's Victorian crime caper as applying jump leads to its nipples and hitting the gas.

Here's more proof in the suave shape of the movie's villain, Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong), wearing what's best described as 'pimp formal wear' while looming over a fog-smudged Westminster like some kind of brylcreemed Beelzebub.

Holmes' nemesis, Blackwood does see himself as being in league with the devil, although exactly what dastardly schemes he concocts in the movie remain to be seen. Expect heinous crimes against the State and one of two against fashion, if the poster is anything to go by.
