We’ve had various trailers for the new Cameron Diaz / Jason Segel comedy Sex Tape trying to tease and tantalise us all for the past few months. But as the film prepares to launch itself upon America in the next couple of weeks, the first clip has arrived.
Jake Kasdan’s **Bad Teacher **follow-up reunites two of its stars in the tale of a hapless married couple who have a night without their kids and decide to exploit its carnal opportunities. That includes making a recording of their sexual activities, but unfortunately they end up accidentally uploading said naughty footage to the cloud, and as the video spreads, a mad chase ensues to retrieve it before anyone sees it. Or, in this case, before too may people see it.
While we’re still waiting to see if the comedy can work beyond the basic premise, the pairing has promise and Kasdan has delivered solid work in the past. Joining Diaz and Segel in 's cast are Rob Corddry, Jack Black, Rob Lowe (irony alert!) and Ellie Kemper. It’ll finally make its way to UK screens on September 3.
