Who would win in a fight, Dwayne Johnson or Mother Nature? It’s a close-run thing, but the quaking earth certainly packs a punch (and has a tsunami haymaker follow-up to make things even tougher) in this new TV spot for disasterthon San Andreas.
The film finds The Rock as Ray Gaines, a talented Los Angeles Fire Department rescue pilot who has just packed daughter Blake (Alexandra Daddario) off to San Francisco when the Big One, a bloomin’ massive earthquake hits California and, if Paul Giamatti’s expert is to be believed, will be felt all across the US of A.
With a whole lot of shaking going on and his spawn in danger, Ray must team up with his ex-wife Emma (Johnson’s Race To Witch Mountain co-star Carla Gugino) and try to find a way to track down their daughter. But the situation may be even worse than he suspects... Yes, his favourite Under Armour store has been wiped off the face of the Earth. Oh, and his family's future might be under real threat.
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’s Brad Peyton is marshalling the chaos for this one and San Andreas will be out here on May 29.
