With the new poster for disaster thriller **San Andreas **arriving earlier yesterday via Mr. Dwayne Johnson himself on Instagram and Twitter, all signs pointed to the latest trailer following it like an aftershock. Here it is, in all its earth-shattering form.
As we mentioned, the poster also arrived, described as a "first look" by Mr D. But given that it followed the inital teaser and some stills, an argument could be made that it really isn't a first look at anything besides the poster itself. But he’s The Rock, and you don’t argue with him unless you like spending the rest of your days with your hair as an internal organ. So enjoy the poster!

San Andreas finds the one-man man-mountain as Ray Gaines, a talented Los Angeles Fire Department rescue pilot who has just packed daughter Blake (Alexandra Daddario) off to San Francisco when the Big One, the mother (nature) of all earthquakes hits California and, if Paul Giamatti’s expert is to be believed, will be felt all across the US of A.
With a whole lot of shaking going on and his spawn in danger, Ray must team up with his ex-wife Emma (Johnson’s Race To Witch Mountain co-star Carla Gugino) and try to find a way to track down their daughter. But the situation may be even worse than he suspects... Yup, the protein shake store is now a distant memory.
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island’s Brad Peyton goes full Roland Emmerich this time (please tell us someone in the film says “it’s 2012 times a million!”, Team America-style), so expect chaos, shouting and lots of CG-fuelled destruction. San Andreas will be out here on May 29.
