New Posters From The Campaign

While the world gears up for the US presidential election this year, a battle we're not expecting to be that funny despite the best efforts of the Tea Party, a whole different election will be playing out between Will Ferrell's dandy-but-dim congressman and Zach Galifianakis' oddball outsider in The Campaign. Jay Roach's comedy pitches the two candidates into the kind of political struggle that's gonna require posters. *Campaign *posters.

The two men, Cam Brady (Ferrell) and Marty Huggins (Galifianakis), go head-to-head when Brady makes a PR blunder and leaves the door ajar for a rival challenger. Needless to say, with those two at work and Austin Powers / Meet The Fockers director Roach behind the camera, the campaign is likely to be more The Ides Of Arch than The Candidate.

There's also an entertaining trailerfloating about on the web that's well worth a look. Jason Sudeikis, Brian Cox, Dan Aykroyd and John Lithgow round out the cast.

**The Campaign **is out on September 28, a couple of months before the whole thing plays out for real.
