We know Sam Worthington can deal with kraken, terminators and amp-suited maniacs, but how is when the bullets aren't flying? **Last Night **should provide an answer. Iranian-American director Massy Tadjedin's debut feature pitches the Aussie actor opposite Keira Knightley as one half of a couple whose marriage is severely tested when each is tempted to stray.
As Last Night's new trailer and poster shows, the sirens tempting them onto the rocks, Eva Mendes and Guillaume Canet, are of the tough-to-resist variety. Mendes plays the attractive colleague Worthington - uh-oh - travels with on a business trip, while Canet is Knightley's past love still holding a candle for his ex.
We're all familiar with the love triangle - if you can have such a thing as a love square, this is it.
With Miramax holding distribution rights to this and John Madden thriller The Debt, there's two Sam Worthington films currently in distribution limbo. The studio's $660m sale by Disney to Filmyard Holdings should be done and dusted by the end of the year, though, so expect release dates to follow.
