It’s helped give Keanu Reeves an action career boost, may spawn a sequel and launched stunt experts-turned-co-directors David Leitch and Chad Stahelski into sought-after filmmakers. But OTT action thriller **John Wick **hasn’t even – officially at least – reached these shores after sparking so much interest in the States. He’ll finally arrive in April, with a new poster trumpeting his British presence.
Reeves is the titular hard nut, who has given up bullet slinging for a quiet life after the death of his wife, who left him the gift of a beagle puppy named Daisy and instructions not to let go of love in his world.
But then he runs afoul of some gangsters who take a shine to his car. Rebuffed, they track him down and take everything, even killing the beloved pup. Enraged, Wick picks up the tools of his trade once more and soon no one is safe...
With a cast that includes Adrianne Palicki, Willem Dafoe, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, Jason Isaacs, Alfie Allen, Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo and Michael Nyqvist, John Wick finally lands over here on April 10.
