If Sacha Baron Cohen’s comedy The Dictator doesn't do for the egos of tinpot despots what **Bruno **and **Borat **did for the redneck community and the Kazakhstan Tourist Board respectively, they're an even less self-aware bunch than they look. And when you consider the number of medals most of them wear, that is saying something.
Taking time out from settling up Ryan Seacrest's dry cleaning bill, Baron Cohen features on a shiny new poster for the film. It sees his The Republic of Wadiya's tyrant-in-chief General Aladeen giving us his badass Coming To America look as he glowers (kinda) menacingly against a New York backdrop.
In case you haven't caught a glimpse of its new trailer, The Dictator sees Baron Cohen's Aladeen landing on the soil of the infidel - that's America to you and me - to try to put a stop to this democracy nonsense, only to find that life in the Big Apple isn't all the killing and maiming the terrorist manuals promised it would be.
Directed by old Baron Cohen cohort and Seinfeld creator Larry Charles and co-starring Ben Kingsley and John C. Reilly, **The Dictator **lands in cinemas on May 18.
