One of the most eagerly awaited films of 2011 in these parts is Greg Mottola's Paul, a geek-out of such majestic proportions that even the most hardened Comic-Con'er is likely to find nirvana in its riffs on all things sci-fi.
In fact, the most hardened Comic-Con'er may well be in it. As this behind-the-scenes footage shows, the film picks up with Nick Frost and Simon Pegg's road-tripping fanboys on the floor of the 'Con. It's also got more than a glimpse at some of the A-Team of US comic talent - Jane Lynch, Jeffrey Tambor and Kristen Wiig amongst it - the pair have helped assemble for their long-awaited homage to Close Encounters, E.T., The X-Files and the extra-terrestrial paranoia of the '50s. How's that for a slice of fried gold?
