For anyone out there with the stomach for another flood, or, more likely, just a love and affection for Sir Anthony Hopkins, there's a new **Noah **poster in which the twain meet to big splashly effect. Click on the image for a closer look. Hopkins plays famously old Biblical dude and champagne bottler Methuselah - and grandfather to Noah - in this period version of 2012.

Poster-wise, this is the latest edition to a whole gallery's worth for Darren Aronofsky's first venture in blockbuster country. Noah, the ark, Naameh (Jennifer Connolly), Ham (Logan Lerman) and bad guy Tubal Cain (Ray Winstone) - boo! Hiss! - are some of the others to get the character poster treatment. Only the dove is still without a one-sheet to call its own. {Noah Character Posters} **Noah **may not play particularly well in the Thames river basin but we're awaiting it with no little interest. it's a big old Biblical epic in the style of a muscular Cecil B. DeMille picture with the added benefit of CG to lend shock and awe.

Crowe, of course, plays the ark-building family man, with Connelly as his wife. He not only has the watery genocide of a discouraged deity to deal with in this story, but also the violent opposition of Winstone's Cain.

**Noah **hits UK cinemas on April 4.
