New Monsters University Poster Online

As part of its big song-and-dance (albeit with no actual singing or dancing) show to promote its upcoming movies on Wednesday, Disney screened an almost-finished print of Monsters University. We’re not allowed to say anything about it due to its incomplete nature, but we can at least point you to the new poster that has come online.

Monsters University, as you probably know by now, serves as a prequel to Monsters, In****c, and spins the clock back to the time when Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan (John Goodman) were freshmen at the prestigious learning institution.

Nerdy Mike, despite his obvious size and personality issues with the idea, is committed to being a scarer and has his eye on a career at Monsters, Inc. Sulley on the other hand is a lazy jock convinced that he’ll cruise through the scaring course on the basis of his famous family name and big, hairy, frightening frame.

Neither particularly likes the other, and when something happens that causes them to run afoul of the terrifying Dean Hardscrabble (Helen Mirren), they’re tossed from the course. Their only chance to get back in? The Scare Games. Can they put aside their differences and team up to help a bottom-of-the-barrel fraternity win? Well, yes, probably, but we're sure there will be surprises along the way.

Featuring the voices of Nathan Fillion, Charlie Day, Aubrey Plaza, Alfred Molina, Dave Foley, Joel Murray, Julia Sweeney, Pete Sohn and Sean P. Hayes, Monsters University will be out on July 12.
