New Mission Impossible Poster Online

We're already rather looking forward to Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol just because it daringly breaks away from colon-focused punctuation of the series to date. As a bonus, it also has Pixar's Brad Bird directing, a heck of a cast assembled and some very promising trailers so far.

The official synopsis describes the plot thusly: "The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization’s name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this."

That "grittier" element would explain the hoodie, of course. This latest poster seems to be very much in line with that still we saw a few weeks ago in that Cruise is clearly still down with the kids in his hoodie. But it also has a tiny resemblance to recent poster hits like **Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, what with all the numbers. Hey, they're both classy spy movies, so that makes sense.

Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol is out on Boxing Day here in the UK - or not soon enough by half. It also stars Jeremy Renner, Josh Holloway, Paula Patton, Ving Rhames, Tom Wilkinson and, of course, Simon Pegg.
