Saucery ahoy! The internet has laid its grubby paws on a new poster for Amanda Seyfried's new Linda Lovelace biopic Lovelace, and it's got all the come-hithering you could possibly need on a dank Thursday. If you need any at all. And we're not saying you do.
That Seyfried makes a suitably seductive Lovelace is pretty obvious from a poster that's at least 142% more sultry than the Tyrannosaur one-sheet. Warning: do not look directly into the hair.
With Lovelace, **Howl **directorial pair Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman have steered another sexually-charged biopic to the screen. Instead of Beat poetry, this time it's the '70s porn industry that's holding their focus. Lovelace's life featured extremes that would make Dirk Diggler blanch and their story spans almost its entirety, from her teen years in Florida to Deep Throat and beyond. It's no spoiler to say that it didn't end well.
Seyfried's Lovelace will be the first of two big-screen portrayals - Malin Akerman's Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story is scheduled for release in 2013 - with the sizeable advantage of being first to the screen. The actress is joined by Chloe Sevigny, Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone and Sarah Jessica Parker and, ahem, Big himself, Chris Noth.
