Just say no to drugs, kids. Sure, they may promise giggliness and the munchies or, as it may be, sudden success in every aspect of your life - but it's still not a good idea. At least, that looks to be the case in Limitless, Neil Burger's new film that sees Bradley Cooper's failed writer downing a mysterious drug called "Clear Pill" and suddenly finding every synapse in his brain firing on all cylinders.
That might be nice, what with finally finishing his novel and finding considerable success with the opposite sex (represented by Abbie Cornish and Anna Friel) and businessman Carl Van Loon (Robert De Niro) recruiting him, but then there's the possible side-effects and the fact that someone seems to be after his stash. Yikes.
These particular images look quite heavily airbrushed to us, but hey! Cooper's chemically enhanced in the film so maybe all that improvement is cleverly thematic somehow. **Limitless **is out in the UK on March 23.
