The new issue of Empire doesn't hit shelves until next Thursday, August 28, but we have a sneak peek for you already! We have the latest on Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service, including these two rather nifty images showing Colin Firth's impeccably-dressed agent at work, and Samuel L. Jackson as the villainous Valentine. Feast your eyes.
Says Jackson of his role, "Watching From Russia With Love, it was like, 'Oh my God, what is this?' I had never seen a film like that before in my life. I always thought of myself more as Bond than the villain. But as I got older, I realised that villains are a lot more colourful and a lot more interesting and a lot more outside the box. And the whole tongue-in-cheek Bondian aspect of the film is pretty great. It was fun to sit there and do that, using the metaphors of the Bond film."
The film stars Taron Egerton as the streetwise youngster taken under the wing of Colin Firth's super-spy, and will not be your typical spy movie. Kingsman: The Secret Service will arrive on February 12, 2015. For much more on the film, pick up the new issue of Empire, online or in shops, next Thursday.
