New Intruders Trailer Hits The Web

The full trailer for Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s **Intruders **has made its way online and gives another impressively chilling taster of the Spanish filmmaker's new horror. The promo spot gives a much clearer sense of the film's London and Spanish settings than the earlier teaser but offers a similar sense of deep unease.

There are one or two haunted house staples in there - specifically the clash of believer (Clive Owen's husband) and agnostic (wife Carice van Houten), and the scared-witless child who's raised the alarm - but Fresnadillo's sure touch for jumpshocks (see also: 28 Weeks Later) looks likely to guide us quickly out of any kind of comfort zone.

There are parallels with the Guillermo del Toro-produced Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, right down to that bedsheet reveal, but **Intruders **throws in an intriguing new angle: the nastiness is plaguing not just Owen's London house but a family living in a Spanish farmhouse. What connects them? Check out the trailer below and give us your best guess below.
