YA franchises are like buses: there are loads of them and, er, they, um… live in a depot? Okay, the similarities aren’t as profound as we initially thought but there certainly a few of them backed up in the release schedule, honking their horns and inviting the attention of passers-by. The Divergent Series: Insurgent, part two of Veronica Roth’s dystopian sci-fi, is next in line and has a new trailer to share. Click on the YouTube embed below to see what’s in store.

When we left Shailene Woodley’s heroine Tris at the end of Divergent, things were looking bleak for her and Four (Theo James). He’s been freed from mind control, but the duo and their fellow revolutionaries have been forced to flee Erudite’s malign leader, Jeanine (Kate Winslet), before she can terminate them all.

The pair are now fugitives on the run, hunted by Jeanine and her power-hungry Erudite acolytes. Racing against time, they must find out what Tris’ family sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris, with Four at her side, faces one impossible challenge after another as they unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the future of their world.

With Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Miles Teller, Octavia Spencer, Zoë Kravitz, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer and Naomi Watts also among the cast and Robert Schwentke taking the directorial reins from Neil Burger, The Divergent Series: Insurgent will be out here on March 20.
