UPDATE: Den Of Geek has premiered a new poster for Transformers: Age Of Extinction, which features Optimus Prime riding atop Grimlock. We've added it to the gallery below.

While the human characters add a certain something to the films, we all know that the majority of the audience is more excited by the robots in the Transformers franchise. To play to that crowd, the latest batch of images from Age Of Extinction include pics of top ‘bots Bumblebee and Optimus Prime.

Bumblebee, it would appear, has been hitting the gym (the mechanics'?) between films, and has also upgraded his weapons, boasting some sharp looking throwing star-alike plates and a slightly different gun. Optimus, meanwhile, does his best sword stance in one picture, and in the other image we like to think he’s impersonating The Simpsons’ McBain. All together now: “Mendoooozaaaaa!” (Or perhaps it should be “Megatrooon!”) {New Transformers: Age Of Extinction Stills}

Age Of Extinction itself, lest we forget, takes place a few years after the events of Dark Of The Moon, with the world turned against the Transformers, shunning them after their destructive battles raged across the world. But when human tinkering with Transformer technology draws a dangerous new threat to our planet, Optimus and the Autobot patrol must reunite to work alongside some new friends – Mark Wahlberg’s inventor Cade, his daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz), her boyfriend Shane (Jack Reynor) – and others to fight new enemies. {Transformers: Age Of Extinction Character Posters}

With Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Stanley Tucci, Titus Welliver, Bingbing Li, Peter Cullen, T.J. Miller and recent announcements John Goodman, Ken Watanabe, John DiMaggio and Mark Ryan aboard, **Transformers: Age Of Extinction **is out on July 10.
