As has been the trend for the films in their early stages, the latest Hunger Games release,** Mockingjay – Part 1** is continuing its promotional blitz with material that appears to originate from Panem itself. Here, then, is President Snow himself (also known as Donald Sutherland), addressing the Districts with a very important message.

Yes, plebs… It’s time to shape up and stop plotting revolution against those benevolent, bountiful types in the Capitol. As you’ll know if you’ve read Suzanne Collins' novels or seen the films, by this point in the story all-out war between the rebellious Districts and the rich, privileged Capitol is inevitable, with the revolution spreading.

So, naturally, the Capitol wants to put any of that resistance down before it has a chance to really catch on. Hence this seemingly peaceful video, which, like all of Snow’s messages, carries plenty of seething disgust and undercurrents of threat. Note also a slightly glassy-eyed Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) standing with the Prez – poor old Peeta, left behind in the clutches of the Capitol, isn’t going to have any easy time of it from here on out. Not that he had it easy to start with…

With Jennifer Lawrence back as heroine Katniss Everdeen, Mockingjay – Parts 1 and** 2** are filming back to back. Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Paula Malcomson, Willow Shields, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci will all feature, alongside new arrivals Natalie Dormer, Gwendoline Christie and Julianne Moore. **Part 1 **lands in the UK on November 21.
