Daniel Radcliffe turned up to the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, but it had nothing to do with his status as the Boy Who Lived. In fact, he was there alongside director Alexandre Aja and novelist Joe Hill to pimp Horns, the horror thriller that finds Radcliffe sporting the titular head protuberances. The trailer they brought with them is now online for your viewing pleasure.
Radcliffe plays Ig Perrish, the never-convicted prime suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin (Juno Temple). Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns growing from his head and soon realises that their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses – an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend’s tragedy and to exact revenge on her killer. {Horns Teaser Poster}
It’s been quite the wait for the film, which screened nearly a year ago at the Toronto Film Festival, and has been awaiting its shot at cinemas since then. The cast also boasts the likes of David Morse, Max Minghella, Kathleen Quinlan, Heather Graham and James Remar, and Horns will finally bedevil UK cinemas on October 31.
