The first trailer for **Hitman: Agent 47, which finds Rupert Friend possessing the shaved bonce, sharp suit and skills to kill for the assassin character adapted from the game series, arrived in February. Here comes a new look at the film, which might reveal a little bit too much for those who prefer to stay spoiler-free, so consider yourself suitably warned.
This time around, the focus is even more on the Agent program that created the numerically named killing machine, genetically engineered to be stronger, faster, smarter and better than most of us regular folk.
His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47's past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman (Hannah Ware) who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.
Aleksander Bach is behind the camera for this one, with Zachary Quinto, Ciaran Hinds, Thomas Kretschmann, Emilio Rivera and Dan Bakkedahl all among he cast. Hitman: Agent 47 sneaks into US cinemas on August 21 and heads to the UK on August 28.
