T-minus six weeks and counting... Marvel's curveball Guardians Of The Galaxy is almost upon us, and with that in mind , here's the UK's very own new trailer. You can tell it's for the UK because it says "Avengers Assemble" at one point.
In a word: crikey! While previous promos have gone all out for the comedy, this one, for the most part, emphasises the epic galactic threat. No ooga-chaka here... That is, apart from some choice business from John C. Reilly and a lurch into some snappy one-liners towards the end. "You just wanna suck the joy out of everything," mutters Rocket Raccoon as he's told to tidy his bomb away.
We also get our longest looks yet at all the principals, which means the aforementioned Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax The Destroyer (Dave Bautista) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana, who we of course get to see getting undressed).
Slither director James Gunn is behind this one, which also features Lee Pace, Benicio del Toro, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Josh Brolin, Glenn Close, Michael Rooker and Peter Serafinowicz. It’ll be out in UK cinemas on July 31.{Guardians Of The Galaxy}
