New Entourage Trailer Struts In

The first trailer for the film based on HBO’s Entourage dropped in December, bringing with it pretty much everything you might expect: Vince, E, Drama, Turtle and Ari, their attendant hangers-on, significant others and employees plus the requisite lashings of models, partying, shouting, ego-stroking and celebrity cameos. The new promo is pretty much more of the same.

The game has changed slightly this time, with Jeremy Piven’s Ari Gold having moved on up from super agent to studio head. With the power coursing through his sweary body, he’s ready to make Vincent (Adrien Grenier) an even bigger star by handing him the leading role in the first big project under the new regime. But Vinny wants to direct it, at a budget of $100 million... Which does not go well. E (Kevin Connolly), meanwhile, has his own production to think about as Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) is expecting their child. Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) has a run in with – and tries to date – Ronda Rousey and Drama (Kevin Dillon)… is Drama.

As usual, Vince’s career is in danger, with Ari predicting that screwing up on the movie could be the end of him. But if Entourage history has taught the world anything, it’s that these numbskulls are always getting into trouble, but coming out of it easily.

And the celeb count is predictably high, with the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Scott Mescudi, Calvin Harris, Jessica Alba, Liam Neeson, Pharrell, George Takei, David Spade, Armie Hammer, Kelsey Grammer and even some fresh-faced newcomer named Wahlberg among those putting in an appearance.

With series creator and movie writer/director Doug Ellin overseeing things, Entourage will slow-mo walk to the music of some popular beat combo into UK cinemas on June 19. Bros? Yeah.
