With Terminator Genisys done and dusted, it's already onto the next one. We'll shortly see Arnold Schwarzenegger on rather different form, facing a zombie horde alongside Abigail Breslin in Maggie. The last trailer arrived a couple of weeks ago; now here to keep your interest up is a quick new clip, in which Arnold and Abigail warily greet a crumbling "Nathan".
While once the concept of Schwarzenegger and a zombie sharing the screen would conjure up the image of him shooting legions of the undead in an action movie, Maggie is instead the small-scale, emotional indie story of a father having to come to terms with the fact that his daughter is slowly succumbing to her place among the undead.
Naturally overcome with the desire to protect his daughter despite the danger she poses and the authorities trying to make sure she’s put into quarantine, Schwarzenegger’s Wade goes up against everyone around him to look after Maggie, even as she shows more and more signs of the infection creeping through her body.
Henry Hobson is the director, and Maggie's cast also features Joely Richardson, Laura Cayouette, J.D. Evermore and Raeden Greer. It's out in the UK on July 24.
