If your Thursday is a little lacking on the testosterone front so far, allow us to juice things up with a smidgeon of The Stath, in new British thriller Blitz. Judging by the trailer, this one's a little straighter than the films we've seen Jason Statham in of late, but going by this clip, it's still got a lighter side.
Based on the Ken Bruen novel, this is the story of Detective Sergeant Tom Brant (Statham) a cop who's after a serial killer. The wrinkle is that the killer is targeting police officers, upping the ante considerably for our hero.
With Paddy Considine, Aidan Gillen and David Morrissey also onboard, this one's got us rather interested. Blitz opens on May 20 in the UK.
