If you haven't read The Hobbit - or if you read it so long ago your memories have become, "There's a dragon in it, right...?" - then chances are you're going to need an aide-mémoire to put names to its oh-so-many faces. Aware of this problem, Peter Jackson and the rest of the The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey crew have made this character scroll poster, just for you.
Much like the previous Hobbit scroll poster seen back in July, this extra *extra *large picture is so huge you'll have to click on the thumbnail above to witness its full majesty.
One thing the poster doesn't do is put the actors near their characters' faces, so to help you out on that front, here they all are below, in order:
Ian McKellen as Gandalf the Grey; Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins; Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield; Peter Hambleton as Gimli's father, Glóin (note the lack of accent in the poster); John Callen as the 200 year-old Óin; Ken Stott as the "look-out man" Balin; Graham McTavish as the beautifully-tattooed Dwalin; James Nesbitt as the forthright and funny Bofur; William Kircher as Bifur, the dwarf with an axe in his head that renders his incapable of speech; Aidan Turner as the really rather handsome Kíli; Dean O'Gorman as Kíli's brother, Fíli; Mark Hadlow as the strongest and grumbliest of the dwarves, Dori; Braindead, Heavenly Creatures and LOTR alumnus Jed Brophy as Dori's brother, Nori; Adam Brown as Dori and Nori's other brother, Ori; Stephen Hunter as the fat and clumsy Bombur.
For more dwarf poster goodness, check out this one-sheet from last week below, sitting alongside two other posters it may well remind you of...
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey finally gets here on December 14.
