New Character Banners For 300: Rise Of An Empire

All this week Warner Bros. has been releasing character banners for Noam Murro's upcoming historical comicbook epic 300: Rise Of An Empire. We now have something approaching a collection, so allow us to present to you the following raging images of Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Lena Headey and Jack O'Connell. We didn't think it too many.

Stapleton is playing Themistokles (yup, the production has opted for the Greek spelling), leader of a fractious alliance of Greek states against the Persian might of god-emperor Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his armies. Green is Artemisia, the most bad-ass of Xerxes' commanders. O'Connell is Calisto, the son of Greek general Scyllias, who's being played by Callan Mulvey but doesn't have a poster yet. And Headey is returning as Queen Gorgo of Sparta, reminding us that Rise Of An Empire is a sequel/prequel/paralleloquel to Zack Snyder's 300.

Snyder remains as producer and overseer, but it's Murro that's directing this time. Hans Matheson and Andrew Tiernan provide further support, and 300: Rise Of An Empire crashes onto these shores on March 7, 2014.{300: Rise Of An Empire}{300: Rise Of An Empire Poster}
