Update: Robert Redford's S.H.I.E.L.D. wonk Alexander Pierce is the latest to get his own Captain America: The Winter Soldier poster. Click below for scrutinisation purposes. Nature's Black Widows aren't well-known for their flying abilities, but it looks like Marvel's Scarlett Johansson version is perfectly happy in mid-air, making your jaw drop. She's the star of one of many new Captain America: The Winter Soldier posters - now featuring a decent amount of strutting and a tiny Robert Redford - and you'll want to look at all of them ASAP.

What can we take from these? Well, Black Widow seems to have gone on the Photoshop diet, but aside from her unlikely waist looks pretty darn cool. Nick Fury's signature cool overcoat is looking more serious of purpose than ever. And Cap seems weighed down by the cares of the modern world, and also the shield on his back.
As these one-sheets hint, the new adventures of the First Avenger will be a bit darker and more morally confused than its Stars-and-Stripes waving predecessor. This time, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), AKA Cap, discovers something rotten in the state of S.H.I.E.L.D., and also has to deal with the reappearance of his old friend Bucky (Sebastian Stan), now brainwashed and cybernetically modified and transformed into the titular Winter Soldier.

Marvel's latest also features Anthony Mackie as The Falcon (who has just gotten his own poster, which you can see above), along with Frank Grillo, Cobie Smulders and Emily Van Camp, and you can read lots more about it in last month's Empire's iPad version.
